Free Credit Report
Everybody is always asking us how to obtain a free credit report. It seems that FREE is the operative word on the internet. Whether what you receive is really free or not is another matter. There are numerous websites offering you a free credit report. The catch is that you have also agreed to sign up for their monthly "credit watch" program which is not free.
Identity Theft has become the fastest growing finincial crime in America. An Identity Theft Protection Plan is invaluable if this should happen to you. I highly recommend that you sign up especially if you conduct business over the internet, have more than two credit cards, travel extensively, or have already been a victim of identity theft.
Most of the FREE CREDIT REPORT companies only offer to monitor your credit and advise you of unusual activity.
They will not help you if you become a victim of identity theft. If you already have one of these plans then cancel immediately.
